Bajura, Dec. 1: Death toll of Dadeldhura bus accident has reached 12. Nine persons died on the spot and three other died while they undergoing treatment.
A bus (Na 5 Kha 789) bound to Dhangadhi from Tipada of Bajura district met the accident at Melkharka of Gankhet-8 in Dadeldhura district on Sunday morning, according to District Police Office, Dadeldhura.
Five among the dead have been identified as Dal Bahadur Adhikari, 50; Shuru Bahadur Adhikari, 22; Hira Lal Khatri, 32; Bhakta Sarki, 16, of Badhu VDC-7, and Lachhiram Thapa, 33, of Kailashmandau-8, said Keshav Bohara, Police Inspector at the Police Office. Seven others died in the accident are yet to be identified.
Two among the deceased are women while nine others are men.
Four among the injured have been referred to other places from Dhangadhi for treatment while three are sent to Dangadhi from Dadeldhura. RSS
