Kathmandu, Dec. 1: Vice-chairman of the CPN-Maoist, CP Gajurel, has said his party would not join the Constituent Assembly (CA) and the government at present circumstances.
Speaking at an interaction organized by Sambad Dabali in the capital city on Sunday, Gajurel said the CPN-Maoist was against the entire CA election process and that it would not join the CA though it was awarded seats there.
Leader Gajurel refuted party’s unity with the Unified CPN (Maoist), but the collaboration with it was possible if it came for roundtable conference giving up the CA.
The CA result would not give solution to the nation for taking the peace process to its conclusion, he argued.
Vice-chairman Gajurel refuted media report that he said his party would join the CA if his party was recognized by guaranteeing CA birth. RSS
