Kathmandu, Dec. 1: The CPN (UML) has pointed fingers at the Nepali Congress (NC) for rigging in the November 19 Constituent Assembly (CA) to make the party candidate Dr Chandramohan Yadav victorious in Dhanusha Constituency No. 5.

Organizing a news conference here today, UML candidate under the first-past-the-post electoral system from the same constituency Raghubir Mahaseth demanded that the Election Commission (EC) to invalidate the results and conduct the fresh election.

Mahaseth claimed that assistant chief district officer asked for two empty ballot boxes, exchanged five ballot boxes and police personnel were asked to cast vote in the name of absent voters in favor of Yadav. RSS
