Agreement on president based on mandate: Leader Nepal

Gaur (Rautahat), Nov. 30: Senior leader of the CPN-UML, Madhav Kumar Nepal, has said that the political parties need to forge agreement on election of president based on the recent mandate.

Speaking at a press meet organized by the Press Chautari Nepal’s Rautahat Chapter here today, leader Nepal said as Nepali Congress has been the largest party after the Constituent Assembly II, it has the role to take initiative to forge consensus on the formation of government.

The CPN-UML is committed to deliver constitution in a year, he said, adding that constitution with federalism heeding the demands of Madhesi issues were essential. RSS
