Violence hit women honored in dhanusha

Janakpurdham, Nov. 30: Violence-hit women have been honored today at an interaction on ‘Women human rights defenders’ safety and identity.’

Those honored at the programme organized on the occasion of the 16- day campaign against violence against women by WOREC Nepal and Women Human Rights Defenders Network Dhanusha were Kushmi Devi Mandal, Swati Mahato, Tulasa Khadka, Mamata Mandal, Fulodevi Mahato, Sunita Yadav, Yashoda Yadav, Bhagawati Mandal, Gulabdevi Jha, Amrita Chaudhary, Sabita Dev, Mangali Pariyar, Kiran Jha , Rinku Saha and Anila Karna.

On the occasion, WOREC Nepal Programme Chief Hemlata Sigdel said they were honored for encouraging them for their self esteem and in honour of their struggle. RSS
