Industrialists call for investment-friendly environment

Kathmandu, Nov. 29: Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala has said that new constitution would be promulgated within a year by preparing the draft of the constitution within the first six of the Constituent Assembly (CA) formation.

At a meeting with the entrepreneurs here Friday, Koirala said that parleys with political parties were on to write the new constitution and form the new government based on a consensus.

He expressed confidence that works of economic development would be taken ahead after maintaining political stability in the country.

President Koirala said that the country would be taken to path of economic development as environment for business would be created after political stability in the country.

“We are committed to promulgating the constitution by forging consensus on federalism and form of governance first and then creating environment for economic development,” President Koirala said.

On the occasion, industrialist Padma Jyoti said that political stability and investment-friendly environment be created in the country and suggested that political issues should be resolved from the House.

During the meeting, entrepreneurs Surendrabir Malakar and Umesh Shrestha and others were present. RSS
