Kakarvitta(Jhapa), Nov.29: Nepali Congress general secretary Krishna Prasad Sitaula argued the term of incumbent President  will continue until the promulgation of a new constitution.

Talking to local media persons at Jalthal, the remote village in Jhapa today, he said there is no constitutional and legal provision for the election of president and vice president. He was here in course of exchanging best wishes with his voters.

Former minister Sitauala who won the Constituent Assembly (CA) elections from the Jhapa constituency no.1 said the Interim Constitution of Nepal has guaranteed the post of president until the promulgation of a full constitution. RSS
