Gaur, (Rautahat), Nov. 29: Rautahat district has been found as the least literate district across the country.
According to the National Census of 2068 BS, some 36 per cent school going children are out of school enrollment in the district. As many as 84,000 children are still deprived of school enrollment, the statistics show.
Though the government has been launching child enrollment campaign annually in the district by spending a huge amount of money, it has remained ineffective, it is learnt.
This is a serious problem and it should be addressed soon with effective programme, said Binda Sahani, a local educationist. RSS
