Kathmandu, Nov. 28: Nepal has bagged the best prize in a competition of report presentation on the Employment Permit System (EPS) in South Korea.
Of the 15 reports presented at a workshop on sharing of experiences among the EPS eligible nations held in Seoul, Nepal’s report came out first, according to the Department of Foreign Employment.
The report of Nepal was adjudged the best based on an assessment of the time period taken to send workers to Korea, efforts made to discourage illegal stay in Korea, relations with the Human Resources Development Department of Korea and procedural fairness.
Prior to this, Nepal had also bagged the best prize in 2009 and 2011.
Nepal was represented in the workshop by Director General of the Department Binod KC and EPS Korea Branch Director Dilliram Bastola. RSS
