Kathmandu, Nov. 21: The Unified CPN (Maoist) has demanded that the vote counting process be put on hold saying that the process was not moving ahead as per the people’s views and expectations.

“The meeting of the party’s central office has decided to call for putting on hold the vote counting process here and now as it has been seen that the vote counting process was not moving ahead as per the opinions and expectations of the Nepali people due to the different conspiracies and maneuverings in the Constituent Assembly election,” party spokesman Agni Sapkota stated in a press release this morning.

UCPN (Maoist) representatives throughout the country have left the vote counting centres as soon as the press release was made public. RSS
