
Kathmandu, Nov. 19: An eight-year-old boy was injured when an improvised explosive device (IED) went off at Bhotebahal today. The IED planted by an unidentified group on the road between Teku and Bhotebahal exploded when the boy was unknowingly playing with it.
The victim is Samir Khadgi and he is being treated at the Bir Hospital, according to a Spokesperson for Nepal Police, Superintendent of Police Ganesh KC. Police is searching for the perpetrators.
Meanwhile, police have arrested 56 people from different places in the country including Chitwan, Dang and Dailekeh on the charge of their involvement in anti-election and terrorist activities, said Spokesperson KC. RSS
