Nepal in journey of non-violence: Khanal

Kathmandu, 14 Dec- Senior leader of the CPN (UML), Jhalanath Khanal, has said that the country was now been heading towards a journey of non-violence.

Addressing the special programme organised by the Dhamakaya Foundation here today on the occasion of ‘V Star Day’, leader Khanal said that the country has determined the journey of peace in a short time along with the Comprehensive Peace Accord signed in 2006.

Expressing the belief that solution would be find out soon on the issue of promulgating the new constitution through consensus, he said the country would head towards the journey of economic prosperity after that.

On the occasion, the former Prime Minister said that Nepal and Thailand share similarities in culture, stressing such similarities and mutual relations should be further strengthened, said Khanal’s personal secretary Krishna Bhattarai quoting Khanal.
