Damak, Dec. 15: A growing number of children and other people here are suffering from pneumonia with the increase in cold during the last few days.
Doctors say children develop pneumonia after suffering from fever, cough and cols and cold diarrhoea. The number of patients suffering from this condition and coming to the hospitals and health centres has suddenly increased of late.
It is stated that the number of patients suffering from these conditions in hospitals and health posts in Damak and nearby areas might cross 100. Most of them are down with pneumonia, according to hospital sources.
We are getting as many as 25 children suffering from pneumonia in a day, said Chandra Shah, In-charge of the Emergency Section at AMDA Hospital. RSS
