Kathmandu, Oct. 2: Popular film star Bhuwan KC has withdrawn his candidacy from Kathmandu constituency-1 after local cadres of the CPN-UML staged sit-in at party office Balkhu.
Another candidate Bidhya Neuapne has been fielded in the constituency in place of Bhuwan KC after the latter withdrew his candidature.
The party has decided to bring back KC and field Neupane following pressure from local cadres, said CPN-UML Election Department Chief Agni Kharel. RSS
